Update: Mary's Book

Heaven on the Line: The Inner Call to God, Angels, and Departed Loved Ones is seeking its perfect publisher and possibly literary agent. You help to make that happen by subscribing to my newsletter and following social media such as Facebook and Twitter @MaryNoteLaw. Thank you!

I am honored to be a featured guest on the What Matters Most TV Show. See it on my media page or on YouTube.

Please enjoy this coversation with myself, Candy Danzis, and Pat Caffrey and the Council of Light as we share Angelic Wisdom with our audience and with host Eric Anzalone. Since this show was produced, both Candy and Pat have joined the Angelic Realm full time. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to build friendships with Pat and with Candy and her husband, Brian. I am grateful to this show which allows me to relive that day and to again witness the Brilliance that Candy and Pat brought through.
The Producers of What Matters Most are dedicated to spotlighting Lightbearers so that many can witness some of the infinite good available in the world. Thank you to everyone who participated in this wonderful event-- audience members, production team (including producers Maria Plass and Vann Weller), Candy and Pat, and hosts Glenda Smith and Hannalore Godwin (also a Full-Time Angel) of Circle of Miracles. Thank you to Lucinda Weller for suggesting me as a guest. It was a kick to be interviewed by Eric Anzalone of the pop group, The Village People. He is a hoot! Love Orphanage, Haiti

Love Orphanage began with the huge heart of Gabriel Fedulus, a Haitian man who came to the rescue of orphaned children living in the streets of Haiti. This impoverished nation has no governmental rescources or systems dedicated to caring for their youngest victims of the Devastating earthquake of 2010, nor for these tender young victims of abject poverty who lose their families through death and/or abandonment.

Gabriel began by taking in 4 children, in a donated flat. Today Gabriel supports 19 children rescued from the trauma of loss and fending for themselves on the streets. The goal of Love Orphanage is to give the children a stable, Loving, permanent home; adoption out is not the goal. The number of kids rescued grew, and the family was stretched to accommodate needs for space, food and clothing. Abundant, however, was Love. Still, basic needs had to be met. Gabriel has invested his entire life savings to support the children, yet living conditions are primitive and until recently, none of the chilren had ever attended school. Schooling is considered to be a critical factor in climbing out of poverty.

Enter Ahaji Schreffler, who met Gabriel, her translator, while leading a Drexel University service trip to Haiti. Ahaji learned of Gabriel's orphanage, and asked to meet the children. Immediately Ahaji fell in Love wtih these beautiful Souls. She came home with a new mission: to do all that she could to improve the living conditions for the children of Love Orphanage. Ahaji used her personal savings to purchase land for a new home to be constructed in a safe region of the nation. She then founded We The Village, a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds and goods to construct a home on the donated land. Learn more at www.loveorphanage.org. And then along came Sami Milano, who learned of Love Orphanage from Ahaji, and decided that she wanted to make a difference in the lives of these kids by doing all that she could to support their education. As her Girl Scout Silver Award and Gold Award projects, Sami began her "Be a Difference Maker" campaign. Sami chose to raise awareness, involvement, funds and materials for Love Orphanage. In one year's fundraising, Sami spearheaded events that collectively raised enough funds to purchase books and supplies, and to send each child to school for two academic years! Difficulties arose when it was discovered that schooling was taught in formal French, not the native Creole that the children have spoken all of their lives. Sami coordinated fundraising activities to hire tutors to help the children to catch up academically and to learn the language of instruction. Meanwhile, Ahaji's efforts have raised initial funds to begin construction of the home on the land that she donated. A foundation is now complete! Many goals within the two streams of fundraising and involvement are coming together to support the multifaceted needs of these kids. I am honored to be a part of many of the activities geared toward supporting this beautiful family. I look forward to the ripples of Love that will move outward from each of these children whose tragic beginnings are being turned around through the power of Love.

This page will be used both to introduce readers to Love Orphanage and to post upcoming events in support of this Place of Light.

Meet Olson!

Olson is one of the 19 beautiful children of Love Orphanage. This year, my sibs and I decided that my Dad would Love it if we sponsored Olson's educational costs for a year in his honor. So Olson's education for one year is guaranteed; since last year's schooling costs and this year's have been paid already through Sami's fund drives, Olson is guaranteed to be schooled for at least three years! That's a great start, but we will continue to sponsor Olson for years to come. What a wonderful honorary family member he is. Meanwhile, my Dad has fallen in Love with this sweet Soul living across the world, and he was deeply touched at the privelege of Olson's sponsorship in his honor.

Opportunities to sponsor a child are easy. Whether as a gift for yourself or someone else, the ability to touch a life is deeply meaningful to both givers and receivers. Contributors can choose to direct funds toward living or schooling expenses. Single or ongoing monthly contributions can be arranged via PayPal through the Love Orphanage site. For our family, $20 per month (total-- for the whole gang!) secures Olson's schooling. If you'd like to check out giving options click on Olson's photo and you will land on a giving page at www.loveorphanage.org
